PETRA INDUSTRIES' PAC LV (Polyanionic Cellulose) is a high-quality, low molecular weight polymer that has been purified to meet industry standards. It is effective in controlling filtration loss and is water-soluble, making it a suitable choice for various types of water-based systems. The low viscosity grade of PAC LV results in minimal viscosity increase, and it is resistant to ion interference and suitable for use in a broad pH range. Additionally, PAC LV exhibits excellent thermal stability and is not susceptible to bacterial degradation.
PAC LV is effective in managing fluid loss in various mud systems such as Fresh water, Sea water, KCL, and Salt. In addition, it lowers the risk of differential sticking. PAC LV also has a resistance to bacterial attachment which negates the requirement for preservatives.
