Petra Latex Shield 1000 PRODUCT OVERVIEW

PETRA LATEX SHIELD 1000 is a carboxylated styrene butadiene latex with 67% bound styrene.

PETRA LATEX SHIELD 1000 is an APEO-free water-based emulsion of modified styrene-butadiene polymer.

Application of Petra Latex Shield 1000

PETRA LATEX SHIELD 1000 has been designed for use in cement-latex compositions where properties such as good chemical and mechanical stability as well as long term non-foaming behaviour are important.

PETRA LATEX SHIELD 1000 distinguishes itself by its excellent non-foaming characteristics which results is very good compressive and flexural strength build up. Workability increases significantly using PETRA LATEX SHIELD 1000.

PETRA LATEX SHIELD 1000 shows very good freeze-thaw resistance (>5 cycles-15/+20°C).

The resistance to water penetration is improved when using the PETRA LATEX SHIELD 1000 as an additive for mortar preparation. Because of this, better durability will be the results.

The emulsion adheres very well to all kind of substrates such as concrete, brickwork, tiles, wood etc.
